With this issue of the Clare House newsletter
we are kicking off the Annual Food Drive.
The thought that kept running through my head as I put together the
articles submitted by the wonderful volunteers was “we are many parts, but one
body.” (1 Corinthians 12:20) And as I
saw the many talents and abilities each one brings to their volunteering,
“There are many kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the
same Lord. There are different kinds of
working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the
Spirit is given for the common good.” ( 1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
It never ceases to amaze me how God
uses every talent and ability available, big or small, publicly or behind the
scenes, old or young, to accomplish the task He sets before us. Is God calling you to use your talents in a
new way? Your help is needed to make
this year’s food drive a success!
Whatever you can do, know that it is of worth and value and helps to
accomplish the goal!
